Replanning

Applications and workloads change over time, and the cache plan that WireCache derived from its SQL Analysis may no longer be valid. A typical symptom is increasing CPU utilization rates on your enterprise DBMS. Alternatively, you may realize that you need a special cache plan for unusual events like end of year processing. Expansion

Though it can accelerate queries over a wide range of data, even a WireCache Storage Engine has its limits. If you have significantly increased the workload on your server, it may be time to extend the power of your WireCache appliance by adding an additional Storage Engine. Fault Tolerance

WireCache will never fail in a way that damages data, but in the case of a catastrophic hardware failure, you could lose the acceleration that your applications and databases rely on.
